The Landings at Coral Creek a hidden Gem you probably never heard of
The Landings at Coral Creek in Placida, Florida, is a luxurious gated community with many amenities, such as a beautiful clubhouse with a fireplace, a well-equipped, private fitness center, a resort-style pool & hot tub, and tennis courts. Are you looking for a relaxed lifestyle in a setting of tranquil natural beauty with warm sunshine and clear turquoise waters? You have indeed arrived.
Placida is ideally located just one mile north of the former pirate hid-out Gasparilla Island with the quaint village of Boca Grande. From Placida, you have quick access to prime boating and fishing waters on Florida’s West Coast.
Once completed, “The Landings at Coral Creek” will have 27 buildings with 132 townhouses. The community is ideal if you would rather spend your time boating, golfing and sunbathing, instead of sweating while doing garden work. This could also be the perfect second home for you. No worries – you can close the door and leave for an extended period of time. When you come back, everything will still be the same. Sweet!
There are several nearby Marina’s where you can store your boat. From our own experience, Palm Island Marina is not only the closest; it is also one of the best marinas in the area. They take good care of your boat and have excellent customer service.
The 3-story townhouses offer between 2,275 – 2,431 square feet of living space, with 2 -3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a tandem 4+ car garage. The 4+ car tandem garage has all the room for your boat and cars. Some units have private elevators, and some townhouses are elevator ready. If you like to bike, there are plenty opportunities nearby. Pioneer Trail Park in Cape Haze offers many miles of scenic bike paths. The best beaches are just a few miles away.
All townhouses have two patios one upstairs and one downstairs where you can have a barbecue. If you thinking about a vacation or second home in sunny Florida, this could be it. You may rent out your property for a minimum of 1 month for 12 times a year. It is entirely up to you. Many communities have tough time restrictions, not this one.
The homes are owned fee simple, which means that you own the land beneath your property also. The Homeowners Association takes care of the outside of the building including roof, painting, and insurance. Flood insurance is required when you finance your purchase. Since the property sits 18 feet high, the flood insurance is probably lower. We can itemize the fees and cost for you. At the moment there is no new construction available in the Landings at Coral Creek.
